Tarmal Steel is seeking a motivated and results-driven Project Sales Associate to identify, develop, and manage sales opportunities within Kenya's construction and infrastructure sectors. The successful candidate will build relationships with contractors, developers, engineers, and project stakeholders to drive sales growth and expand Tarmal Steel's market presence.
What You'll Do
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, engineers, and procurement teams.
Conduct regular site visits to identify upcoming projects and generate qualified sales leads.
Promote Tarmal Steel's product range, including PowerSteel® TMT rebars, wire products, and structural steel solutions.
Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and follow up on enquiries to secure orders.
Monitor ongoing and upcoming construction projects, competitor activities, and market trends.
Maintain accurate sales records, project pipelines, and customer interactions through the company's CRM system.
Achieve assigned sales targets and support timely payment collection.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in project sales, preferably within the construction, steel, or building materials industry.
Good understanding of Kenya's construction industry and project procurement processes.
Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Proven ability to generate leads, develop sales pipelines, and close deals.
Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and construction site visits.
Valid driving licence preferred.
